About the Author:
Beth Rosenthal started her teaching career in 1989. She holds a master’s degree in Elementary Education, TESOL and Computer Education, as well as an Early Childhood Certificate. She is a National Board-Certified Teacher and also holds an Advanced Director Credential. She taught grades 2-5 and was an elementary science teacher. In 2005 she left the classroom and opened Kids For Kids Academy, an Early Learning Center & Private School. She ran this Nationally accredited school for 20 years. (www.kidsforkidsacademy.com)
Rosenthal has also served as a consultant for the Florida Department of Education. She is a conference presenter and leads staff and district trainings in the area of Hands On Science and Kindness In The Classroom as well as creating a positive staff culture. She advises Early Childhood centers in the area of educational leadership and classroom observations. Rosenthal is available for author visits & storytelling events. Rosenthal sold her school in 2025 and retired after 35 years as a leader in education. She is the author of You Are Never Too Small To Make A Big Difference, a guide to parents and teachers to teach children empathy, which can be downloaded FREE at www.kids4kids.org. She is also the author of 3 children’s books, The Mischievous Adventures of Patches The Cat, Shira’s Dirty Paws, and June & Juju’s Animal Adventure Counting and Color Book, published by her consulting company Hands On Minds On Education. She is currently working on a 5th book, The Camping and Travel Adventures of Patches the Cat. All are available through Amazon or can be purchased at a discount on this site. She is also the author of Hands On Science & Math published by Gryphon House as well as Hands On Science for Young Children. This book allows the reader to step into her former preschool science lab created and taught by Rosenthal at her NAEYC Legacy School which was accredited for 20 years. The reader can learn how to implement science concepts step by step to encourage Preschool and Kindergarteners to love science. Each activity has corresponding QR codes that take you directly to her YouTube video links where you can watch Rosenthal teaching the lessons to her students.

Rosenthal is the proud mom of 2 children, Rebekah who has her Ph.D. in Integrative Biology and Benjamin who is a mechanical engineer who designs and builds rockets & satellites for Northrop Grumman. She is married to her life partner Julia, and they live in Sebastian Florida with their cat Patches.
Her charity, Kids 4 Kids, (www.kids4kids.org) has provided backpacks and school supplies to kids in need; over 90,000 since 1996 and raised money for kids with cancer. In her retirement, she continues her charitable work as the founder of Kids 4 Kids. Her newest initiative, Crafts For A Cause, finds her making crafts and selling them at crafts shows. All monies from the craft shows are donated to The Haven For Children, to take foster kids on meaningful field trips.
